Poster Sessions
We invite interested agencies, Tribal governments,organizations,researchers, as well as individual participants to submit their projects to be displayed at the Alaska Forum on the Environment. Projects should be current, applicable and may include photographs, literature, and summary information on poster board. Suggested topics include: community recycling projects, innovative clean up projects, invasive species, climate change research, emergency response, environmental regulations, fish and wildlife populations, rural issues, energy, military issues, pollution prevention, and contaminants.

Continuing Education Credits (CEU's)
Alaska Forum, in partnership with Alaska Pacific University, is pleased to announce that Continuing Education Credits (CEU's) are available for attending the Alaska Forum on the Environment. The credit, offered at the Professional Development (500) level, will be available as one CEU or two CEU's for attending 10 hours or 20 hours of Forum sessions and speakers. The cost is only $80 for the one CEU credit and $95 for the two CEU credits. This is an excellent opportunity to get that accreditation needed for your continuing education development or to maintain your certifications while also attending the variety of session topics available at AFE.

Apprenticeship Program
With generous support of the Alaska Department of Labor and Work Force Development, the Alaska Forum is able to implement our EnvironmentalTechnician Apprenticeship Program in partnership with Alaska employers. This program offer training and employment opportunities for all Alaskans.
Apprentices will "earn while they learn" and build critical skills working with instructors and mentors.
